Learn More about Blue Here on His Page - Blue

Clover was bred to our very own Blue!

We are expecting only solids in red/apricot or black/blue to mature less than 40 lbs. Clover's small size comes from her dam who was a Medium import. Blue was bred here at Ghibli and his parents were Seairsha and AKC Champion Gideon, Arreau's King Creole. Both compliment eachother very well. Clover is sweet and incredibly gentle. She is low energy with moderate drive. She makes a beautiful sofa ornament. Blue is very sweet, moderate energy and drive, with a goofy and playful personality. I am expecting calm, sweet, and biddable family pets. Therapy dogs are a possibiliy  - Blue befriends all who he meets and grandma Seairsha passed her Therapy dog test.  We are excited to see what show prospect we get from this pairing.

This is a Category 10 Breeding

Clover's Genetic Diversity score is  0.18 and her IR is high at 0.30. Blue's OI is 0.32 and his IR is an incredibly low -0.12.
Finding a boy to pair her with that was both Diverse and completely unrelated as well as low in internal relatedness was an absolute must. In addition, we very much wanted to keep her deep rich red color. Blue's sire was Apricot and has a Red Grandparent; Blue has a few Red littermates that have kept their red color well into adulthood. In addition and most importantly, we needed a boy that would help us improve on her faults, specifically in her front and long loin. How lucky are we that the best boy - both diverse and structurally nice -  we could find was our very own Blue!

We can't wait to see what beautiful puppies we get!

We are very excited about this pairing.

Sadly, We were not able to find a guardian or co-owner home for the pick female, so we did not have a keeper from this pairing.
